HireDesi is online job board dedicated to providing employment to job seekers of South Asian (Desi) background and talent to employers. Desi is a person of South Asian (India, etc.) origin who lives abroad.
Yes. You can search for jobs on HireDesi. You can also contact us and we can connect you with our partner recruitment firms.
No. It is free for South Asian (Desi) community.
To apply for a job, go to HireDesi browse jobs page.
Enter search criteria in the filter boxes ( right sidebar) for Job Title, Keyword, Region/Location etc. You can also search by clicking a Category or Location.
Then click on the job title to view the job posting. To initiate the application process click the “Apply for job” button.
No. The career profile is information listed in the résumé bank for employers to view. Some job seekers who are currently employed may not want their résumé available, so rather than create their profile they may just browse the job board.
90% of companies use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to sift through candidate applications and resumes. ATSs search for keywords from the job description to make sure an applicant is a good match. The closer your resume matches the employer’s desired experience in the job description, the more likely your resume will move beyond the initial ATS screenings and to a hiring manager. Important: Don’t copy & paste the job description directly from the employer’s posting – this is considered a red flag!

Employers
Log in to your employer dashboard and click “Submit Job.” This will bring up the job posting form. Fill out the required fields to create a new job posting. Or you can send us the job posting via email at : contact@hiredesi.com
Job postings are free for South Asian (Desi) community.
Application or Participation Fees – We do not accept postings in which the employer charges an application or participation fee.
Off-Topic Postings – Except as noted below, we do not accept postings in which the job responsibilities fall outside our site focus on south asian community”
